2007-2008 Special Circumstance Review

The Special Circumstance Review process allows the school to re-examine a students file if there are unusual circumstances. This review will only be considered after the student has completed the initial financial aid application file (the FAFSA must be in house, along with any documents requested based on the initial FAFSA data). We will make an initial award offer, then, if a Special Circumstance Application is on file we will review it.

Documentation is required for the Special Circumstance review - please review the application forms carefully and attach any documentation that is noted as required, or any additional documentation that will support the request.

Special Circumstance reviews are carefully considered, and the review process may take some time, as we do receive a significant number of requests each year. Notification will be sent as to the decision once the review is complete.

Please download and complete the form that corresponds to your situation.

Increase to budget does not guarantee additional aid. If additional aid is available it may be in the form of a loan. Purchase of the computer must be made before consideration, as a receipt is required. Cost of computer has already been considered in cost of attendance for incoming undergraduates and incoming Law students, so no additional request is required for these students.
